Fondly referred to as “Mas”, or “Moz” this handsome buckskin gelding loves to work and prefers to be driven with soft connection on the bit. He would make an excellent horse for a pleasure or competition driver. Mas worked hard for an Amish family in Iowa and is not worried about traffic or strange equipment on the roads. He does an excellent job driving through the cones courses. He hesitated only once when we showed him a wooden bridge – a very smart horse – but he did great and was never bothered by it again. We have used Mas as a lesson horse and he is great. His breeding is Welsh / Belgian cross. He also rides and is being worked as a ranch horse and as a western shoot-out horse. He is a rock star!

after going across it a couple of times – it was no big deal. Mas (or Moz – we spell it both ways) had a year off from driving and only hitched a few times since but he remembers his training well as you can see in his August drive below. He will make someone an awesome all around horse! We insist anyone interesting in him, come try him out first. We wouldn’t let our kids marry someone we have not met and want to be sure Mas will be the right horse for someone special.

Maserati has been worked more under saddle lately. Cheryl has been having fun teaching him more about being a ranch horse and movie star.
