The exhibition right now includes demonstrations on the Combined Driving Events showing a Cones pattern using barrels. He may drive the pattern with a pair of Sport Horses - (draft horse/paint crosses) or what ever he is driving.
	Norwegian Fjords. These horses look a bit different than the typical Fjord. They are in athletic condition so they weigh a lot less than most of the Fjords seen in North America today. They are such each keepers that a strict diet is necessary to keep them in shape. These have just been retired and are no longer available for exhibition.
	This photo was taken at the 9th annual Big Sky Draft Horse Expo in Deer Lodge, MT 2004 by Ruth Makin, from Anaconda. Alex and the Polar boys are having fun in the mud! Joe Yoder is on the back and got the worse of the mud bath. The bleachers were full the day before but the rain on Sunday kept many people from coming out again.
