Royal Coach
This belongs to some clients of ours who want us to sell it for them  - here is what they said about it.
"We purchased this coach in 1994. It was restored by Joel Brown. At that time it appeared to have its original finish and the British Royal Crests were on each door. Mr. Brown said that he had heard there was an article in some driving magazine that a large number of smaller horse-drawn vehicles formerly owned by the royal  family had been sold and that this was one of them. We had the Royal Crests repainted by hand after the restoration with some minor changes to avoid any copyright problems. During the restoration we had disc brakes installed because of our hills and we we had leathers straps added for looks - not for the support of the carriage. They can be easily  removed. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a small tweak in one of the lamp posts. The restorer missed this and since  it was relatively minor in our opinion we chose to overlook it. The upholstery is blue wool on the exterior and blue watered-silk on the interior. It has two steps and straps for footmen on the back. There is a jump seat and a generous seat for two inside. The lamps are candle lit - not original but of the period as is the beautiful tail light. The wheels have rubber on the bottom. The front door windows open and the latter have straps to keep them at the desired height. The doors have pockets in them. There is the  remains of a speaker system on the interior back wall. We never found the parts to restore that option."

Democrat Spring Wagon  This was the last vehicle restored by the late Mel Dewitt, author of the book, Wheels, Wheels, Wagons and More (book is available at Wild Horse Books for $20). It was rebuilt in 1991 with a few updated features to make it comfortable for a commercial carriage ride business. It is a very smooth and quiet ride with rubber on the tires and hydraulic brakes for an added bonus. It is wired for lights, the battery box is under the driver's seat. The back seat comes out and there is a rear tail gate. This vehicle was used for rides and weddings in Sandpoint, Idaho. It has never been wrecked and is in very good condition. You may want to repaint it as some of the paint is chipping off. The lamps are not included. Buyer is responsible for transportation. It has always been stored inside and has been well maintained. Located in Idaho.
